How it works
The Embertec EmberPlug™ power saving technology monitors and controls power use, automatically powering down your entertainment and computer appliances when left unattended or in standby mode.
There are two EmberPlugs™ to choose from:
Embertec Emberplug AV
The Embertec EmberPlug™ AV automatically switches the power off to Audio Visual equipment connected to the power saving socket after 1 hour (can also be easily set to 2 or 3 hours, or be de-activated), if it has not detected any remote control use.
Embertec EmberPlug™ AV also automatically detects and switches off wasted standby power when the equipment is left in the standby mode. Equipment is automatically re-powered by simply using your Audio Visual remote control.

Embertec EmberPlug PC
The Embertec EmberPlug™ PC automatically switches off power to peripherals connected to the power saving socket when the computer switches off or goes into sleep mode, eliminating standby power consumed by computer and office equipment that has been left on, in ‘sleep mode’, or has completed charging
Equipment is re-powered by simply reactivating your computer.
The Embertec EmberPlug™ PC connects to existing power boards and works with all computer equipment regardless of brand or age.
